We work with specialized metal laser cutting suppliers and experts.
What is laser cutting?
The technology behind laser cutting is based on thermal separation. It uses a laser beam in order to increase the temperature of the area to be cut. When the temperature is sufficiently high, a phenomenon of vaporization occurs which brings about the separation of the two sections of the cut metal sheet.
The laser beam follows the planned geometric pattern and ensures the separation of the material. The laser beam used is relatively thin so the area affected by it will also be and the metal parts will undergo little or no deformation.
Common uses for metal laser cutting
Laser cutting is a process that allows the processing of a wide variety of materials. From wood to plastic through synthetic materials, we specialize in metal sheet laser cutting.
The most common metallic materials for which we offer our laser cutting services are:
- Steel
- Stainless steel
- Aluminum
The process is also commonly requested for the following uses:
- Metal tube and pipe cutting (tube machining)
- Non-aesthetic identification and engraving of metals
- Any metal cutting job for which the aesthetics of the cut (edges) is important
- Precision cutting jobs requiring a variety of shapes
Advantages of laser cutting
Precision
The laser cutting process allows a multitude of shapes to be worked with great precision. The work follows a precise and predetermined canvas and the cut is clean.
Aesthetic finish of the cut
Another advantage apart from precision is the aesthetic finish of the cut. The laser work ensures that the cutting edges are perfectly smooth and without micro burrs, in comparison to punch cutting, for example.
Speed of cutting execution
Laser work can be carried out quickly and in series, given its automation.
Economical
The fact that this is a process carried out by automated machinery means that it is possible to achieve volume savings when several identical laser cutting jobs have to be carried out and can be programmed in series.
Versatility
We mainly focus on cutting metal sheets, but laser cutting can be suitable for working with a wide variety of materials. The technology also makes it possible to cut in complex and varied shapes.

FAQ on Laser Cutting
Why Use Laser Cutting?
Laser cutting is a high-quality service that offers unmatched precision in cutting various types of materials such as metal, wood, or plastic. Thanks to modern laser cutting, industries can achieve extremely precise and complex cuts, which are essential for the production of technical parts.
What Type of Laser Cutter to Use?
The choice of a laser cutter mainly depends on the type of material you want to work with and the thickness of the materials. Modern laser cutters are equipped with various laser devices that allow you to adjust the intensity of the laser beam according to the project’s requirements.
What is the Precision of a Laser Cutting Machine?
The precision of laser cutting is exceptionally high, often on the order of a few micrometers. This precision is due to the quality of the outgoing laser beam and the modernity of the equipment used in laser cutting services.
What Type of Wood for Laser Cutting?
Laser cutting can be performed on different types of wood, although birch, poplar, and plywood are often preferred due to their consistent laser response. The versatility of materials is a significant advantage of laser cutting, allowing for a multitude of applications.
What Thickness for Laser Cutting?
The thickness of materials that can be laser-cut varies depending on the power of the laser cutter used. With modern laser cutting equipment, it is possible to cut metals with a thickness of up to 20 mm or more.
What Plastics are Suitable for Laser Cutting?
Plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonate, or polyethylene can be laser-cut with great precision. Laser cutting services offer the opportunity to work with various types of plastic material while ensuring a high-quality standard.
What Other Materials Can Be Processed with Laser Cutting?
Laser cutting of metal is very common, but other materials such as glass, leather, or textiles can also be laser-cut. The diversity of materials worked with demonstrates the flexibility and efficiency of laser cutting services.
